Job Description
As a Latam Salesperson in the Americas on the NY Platform the selected candidatewill market and prospect products to a selected portfolio of clients within Latin America.
He/she/they will:
Identify and prioritize potential clients that could trade Rates, FX, Treasury, GSF and Commodities products and generate revenues to the group.
Market the Bank's capabilities in trading and research to prospects and clients.
Seek all the necessary internal approvals to set up new accounts.
Facilitate the negotiation of legal documentation, along with legal and credit, with clients when the relationship is not covered.
Provide market information and help prospects and clients to identify the derivative strategy that better suits their needs.
Back up for other Latam accounts.
KYC coordination.
Execute derivative transactions with clients.
Coordinate with various internal functions to facilitate settlement of trades.
Calculate credit and funding charges on the various transactions.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Bachelors Degree required.
7+ years of directly related experience
Effective team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
Proven and strong track-record to develop and market profitable global markets-based products
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously is important
Pragmatic approach to problem solving
Mindset of sharing information with team to fully develop potential business relationships
Effective communication skills. Ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and to communicate pertinent complex information in a clear and organized manner.
Demonstrated team player
Familiarity with structured products, derivatives mechanisms, application of ISDA definitions in the context of structured products, and derivatives transaction execution procedures
Series 7 and 63
