Seeking a Senior Field Service Technician (Oil & Gas) for an energy related client based in Indianapolis. IN.
Role is WFH from any location in Central Indiana with an average of 12 15 over nights per month travel in the region.
This person will oversee, assist and train as needed with various work on oil and gas production and processing equipment, (open flare controls, ECDs, Burner Management systems, Vapor Recovery Units and other rotary equipment), and will ensure that all jobs are completed safely. Works closely with the Sales team and customers to ensure job satisfaction.
- Compensation Up to $42 per hour DOE plus OT, on-call payments, and quarterly incentive bonus

- Industrial electrical and mechanical experience required
- 5+ years related experience in the oil & gas industry preferred
- Must have acceptable driving record (NO DUIs etc. within last 3-4 years)
Job Functions:
- Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible
- Performs work associated maintenance and installation of oil and gas production equipment
- Flexibility to work necessary hours to meet customer requirements
- Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Assist with startup, troubleshooting, inspection and repair of Oil and Gas Production Equipment
- Work closely with customers to ensure job satisfaction
- Fill out all safety documentation to ensure job is completed in a safe manner
- Maintain company truck and ensures that all required maintenance is performed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of Oil / Gas experience preferred
- 3+ years industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting required
- Training/Experience preferred in:
- Industrial Wiring, Motor Controls, Relay Logic and PLCs
- Reading and Interpreting Electrical, P&ID, GA and Fabrication drawings
- Electrical instrumentation (Flow/Pressure Transmitters, Thermocouples, Etc.)
- Electrical motors, starters and drives
- Vacuum pumps, blowers and belt driven/direct drive motors
- Pneumatic and electric actuators and valves
- Working with detonation and flame arrestors
- Working with pressure/vacuum relief valves and mechanical check valves
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required
- DISA Certification required (or ability to obtain)
