We sell personal insurance for affluent families. Our role as a personal risk manager includes educating and consulting clients on purchasing appropriate insurance coverage for their homes across the US, luxury vehicles, yachts, fine art collections, jewelry, wine, and other special interests. We manage the kids needs as they learn to drive, transition into college and later split them off from the parents portfolio. We also help structure asset protection relating to Trusts, LLCs and other privacy related issues. Most of our clients are tied to other lines of business within our agency (mostly commercial, life and some benefits)

Job description overview:
- Learn insurance contracts for the above carriers including Auto, Home, Collections, Watercrafts, Umbrella, Flood & Earthquake coverage.
- Learn the quoting software systems for each carrier.
- Complete New Business Questionnaire and collect underwriting data for new potential clients, this includes researching online real estate websites, tax assessors website data, determining flood zones, virtual home inspections via Google Maps/Earth, order driving records, loss history reports, employer/occupation information and overall complete family profile.
- Generate quotes via carrier websites and complete the agency's proposal document for the sales team.
- Update Annual Review summary document for VIP clients. This is an overview of the clients insurance policies in a quick and easy to read format.
- General duties include Endorsements, Claims, Billing, Certs, Auto ID Cards.
- High level duties: Educating clients on marketplace trends, keeping up on current events, tracking internal carrier underwriting & rate changes.
- Time management is crucial and we do a lot of implementation of ongoing training.

How do we grow & succeed?
- Sales are generated by referrals only.
- We work directly with Wealth Advisors / Financial Planners, Tax Accountants / CPAs, and Attorneys.
- Referrals also come from our other in-house departments.
- We do not advertise.
- Generally the business is in the Seattle Metro surrounding area, but we are licensed in all 50 states and conduct business throughout.
