Job Description

Our client company is seeking an experienced engineer to be responsible for providing technical guidance on operating units and equipment within a refinery that maintains and improves the safety, environmental standards, overall reliability, and operating cost of the refinery.
You must be willing to:
Provide engineering technical support to operating units/environmental activities/plant projects
Support process safety/plant safety/environmental compliance
Design improvements for equipment/systems
Recommend equipment reliability improvements
Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS in an Engineering discipline or military equivalent experience
3+ years engineering experience in refinery/chemical/petrochemical plant process/production
Knowledge of industry safety/design/inspection standards/procedures/troubleshooting/root cause analysis
Familiarity with API/ASME standards in the refining industry
Solid verbal/written communication/interpersonal/organizational skills
