This is a hybrid position. There are flexible work from home options available.
Responsibilities include:
- Refine and manage robust financial statement and capital adequacy projection models and associated processes for the entity, suitable for inclusion in the IHC's consolidated CCAR and DFAST filings
- Ensure the implementation of EPS and CCAR programs adhere to local and global relevant regulations by the implementation of enterprise-wide capability and process enhancements for EPS and CCAR
- Develop, implement, and manage regulatory stress testing regression models and other forecast methodologies through the stages of the stress testing process including validation by model risk management, stress test production, Review and Challenge, and audit/regulatory exams
- Assist in the overall CCAR/DFAST production process including: generating forecast results, consultation with the business lines and key stakeholders across the firm and IHC, participating in the Review and Challenge process, and production of the Capital Plan/14A submission
- Assist in leveraging the stress testing forecasting approaches to help inform the BAU budgeting process and identify trends/drivers of variances between the two
- Assist in monitoring and reacting to relevant regulatory initiatives and changes to enable to firm to stay concurrent with all its regulatory obligations
Skill Sets:
- Statistical/Econometric undergraduate focus
- Statistical software experience (SAS, SQL, R) in addition to Excel skills
- Basic Accounting/Finance understanding
- Product knowledge not required but general understanding preferred
- May come from a regulatory or risk reporting function or within a regulatory body itself
- Pragmatic, able to juggle conflicting and time sensitive requirements
- Competent in producing quantitative analysis and communicating them orally and in writing
