The Role you will play:


The primary role of the Senior Product Manager for Aftermarket is ownership and execution on all aspects of product management for the full line of aftermarket products and services, which include:



  • Aftermarket OEM Parts

  • equipment

  • Extended Warranty


Key responsibilities include:



  • Developing and executing the overall strategy and vision for the aftermarket suite of products and services

  • Using data to analyze product sales, margins, market share to track business performance and inform decisions around product, operations, sales, and marketing strategies needed

  • Developing and executing the overall strategy and vision our e-commerce channel, e-shop

  • Management of direct reports

  • Worldwide Product Portfolio Management

  • Worldwide Business Analysis & Sales Focus

  • Marketing/Brand Awareness Focus

  • Pricing

  • E-Commerce Product management


What the ideal candidate needs:



  • Undergraduate degree in business, engineering or related discipline required, MBA preferred

  • 5-7 years related product management experience working for an aftermarket business or aftermarket organization within a capital equipment manufacturing company

  • Experience developing and deploying effective customer loyalty programs is a plus

  • Experience developing and executing successful extended warranty services is a strong plus

  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed individual who Is able to set priorities, work plans and schedules to achiever goals

  • Strategic / creative thinker ready to lead and own the big things while not hesitating to get dirty and in the trenches with operations, sales and customer support that is needed

  • Data Driven Decision maker able to utilize reports, analytics, and dash boards to manage product lines

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and with ERP systems such as JD Edwards

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with presentations, meetings, conversations with customers, product users, and prospects.

  • Able to work flexible hours, including outside of traditional office hours, due to global presence

  • Able to travel domestically and international valid passport required (20% travel on average)


Ideally, candidate would be physically located, or willing to re-locate to Richmond. Flexibility exists for some remote work when based in Richmond.
