100% Remote, client is in Nashville, TN Candidates need to take a video sceen with prime vendor prior to end client submittal TOP 3: ERP development D365 CE, Dynamics, or some sort of CRM developer (X++, similar to C Could potentially look at .Net - can pick this up quickly (would consider someone that's just c# for the mid level) Understand SQL / relational databases Okay looking at people who have worked with homegrown ERP systems someone with quickbooks (smaller shops that have a small IT team where people have gotten experience in lots of different areas Would look at someone who comes from a manufacturing background pseudo SAP experience. Job Overview / Scope: There are 2 Mid level developers open. One is focused on finance strong accounting background would be extremely helpful. Any experience understanding pcharts understanding debits and credits. If they understand the language of accounting and have a c# background they will be super successful One is focused on Supply chain All about shipping. Amazon, USPS. People with sales order, shipping management. Understand online retail. Understand how integrations packages are working. Rate shopping. Carrier assessments. If they have a c# .Net background they will pick this up quickly. Day to day: First day Orientation. Show them dev background. All VMs and will provide documentation. They will have 2 weeks to get their feet underneath them. After that they will get started coding. Initially give them lower risk modifications to the system and will be partnered with a senior/mentor. Will get to run their solutions by the senior and there will be a review cycle. From there they will start writing code. Any code checked in will be reviewed before getting merged into quality cycle. Working on a full stack ERP Application. Most of the time working on the backend. Don't do a lot of front end. Doing a lot with logic and structures. Will hire entry level or people who have adjacent experience ERP/Supply chain backgrounds are good for him Looks for maturity in design scalability, how they define table structures, how they code and if they code clean. Looks for someone who can follow instructions and prospects right. Here's what you'll bring to the team: General Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered) 2+ years' experience as a technical developer Basic understanding of SDLC processes desired (Agile and MSF) Must maintain a HIGH level of ownership and see assignments through to completion based on agreed upon deadlines. Must be prepared to learn new business processes or application nuances very quickly. Escalates issues to the senior developer or Sr. Manager in a timely and appropriate manner. Organizes own workload and works closely with the senior developer or Sr. Manager to ensure own workload is clearly defined and coordinated to meet deliverable timelines. Maintains a working knowledge of Asurion's applications and system integration and is able to understand changes in order to anticipate cross-system or cross-process impacts. Technical Previous Experience with ERP development is required, Dynamics 365 is preferred Experience with MS SQL Server database (2008 R2 or higher) Experience with other Microsoft tools (SSRS, SSAS, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio) Knowledge of current principles, practices and techniques of systems analysis. Knowledge of technical developments and trends in application analysis, design, and development. Knowledge of technical and business writing. Ability to diagnose application problems quickly and develop effective solutions for them. Ability to apply technological concepts and tools within established periods. Ability to prepare documentation, charts, and graphs pertinent to work assignments. Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form, both orally and in writing.
