Design and develop MarkLogic applications using Data Hub Framework
Develop MarkLogic data ingestion workflows for transforming and loading JSON and XML files using MLCP
Develop MarkLogic REST API services to provide data to other applications
Work closely with Application and Enterprise Architects to understand high level data flow designs developed by data architects
Create low level implementation designs
Work closely with business and analysts to understand data and business process and make recommendations based on best practices to resolve current issues and develop new applications
Maintain detailed documentation to support application and integrations
Provide support for production issues, MarkLogic platform upgrades
Identify technology trends in MarkLogic and explore opportunities for use within the organization, Responsible to acquire training as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience implementing MarkLogic solutions in XQuery
Good Knowledge on MarkLogic Data Hub framework
Experience developing MarkLogic REST APIs for real-time services
Experience with exporting data in batch fashion using MLGradle export
Involved in MarkLogic XQuery unit tests
Experience working in GIT, Concourse pipeline etc.
Ability to work closely with business users and translate business needs and requirements to IT specifications and solutions
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment
Strong written and verbal skills
Experience working in agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum
Willingness to learn different technologies as per department needs
Property Casualty Insurance, IT experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field preferred.
