Vice President of Sales Structural Steel
We are looking for a Vice President (VP) of Sales with extensive experience in the Structural Steel &/or Steel Erection industries for our client's growing business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Include:
- 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in selling in structural steel or erector markets.
- Established Customer Base
- In-depth technical knowledge of the structural steel industry
- Have pulse on structural steel market.
- Proven experience in market analysis with strong analytical ability.
- Must be self-motivated & driven.
- Highly computer literate.
- Travel approximately 75%+. Must be able to travel without barriers.
- Must be living in the US and being a US citizen or having a green card in hand.
EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree or comparable experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
- Emphasize the companys capabilities to highlight how they can solve customers problems.
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare effective sales proposals.
- Work closely with upper management to successfully implement the sales plan targeting the annual company volume.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue and further relationships.
- Constantly work to improve customer base.
- Integrated Project Delivery and Design-Build experience is a plus.
- Develop budgets and timelines for clients and the company.
- Sales meeting attendance and accurate reporting.
- Estimate set up with assigned estimator.
