As a Test Automation Engineer within the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for driving the quality practice with a focus on automation within the engineering teams, working with the team as you build and maintain the test frameworks, along with improving and implementing test methods and procedures. As a Test Automation Engineer @Wandelbots,
You develop and maintain the test frameworks.
You automate the user acceptance tests.
You enable others to write automated tests.
You support other engineers troubleshot automation software issues.
You continue to design, build, test and deploy sustainable and easy-to-maintain test automation solutions.
You ensure the quality of software releases and to further develop a solid and stable automation strategy for the future.
You understand the business requirements and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing.
You coordinate and implement test automation solutions and activities inside the project and record the test results.
You work closely with other automation engineers to ensure a correct implementation of the company's test automation strategy.
You apply appropriate automation technologies to meet the short and long-term goals of the testing solution based on the product tech stack.
You collect and report daily statistics and test metrics.
You analyse and raise defects when appropriate and retest defect fixes.
