Job Description
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of month end and yearly financial results. Training and leading the team will be a key aspect of this role and ensuring that an open communication.
In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on, flexible and independent work mentality and be able to deal with managing your workload and meeting deadlines.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Responsible for a team of professionals, handling their requests
- Reporting to local and international managers
- Take care about the audit process
- Ensuring deadlines of internal reporting, audit, VAT, Tax and others
- Assisting with local and foreign tax matters
- Reviewing Financial Statements in line with IFRS and ensuring compliance to accounting rules
- Reviewing month end results prepared by the team and keeping open communications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fully qualified accountant with over 7 years experience in accounting in Malta
- Fluent in English (both orally and in writing)
- Excels in fast paced working environment and has a proficient level of interpersonal and communication skills
