Our client in Indianapolis is seeking a Market Research Analyst. This is a direct hire opportunity with great benefits and room for growth! This position is onsite and can be hybrid (MWF onsite, TTH remote).
Responsibilities:
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential product and service markets
- Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes that may impact the organization
- Analyzing performance benchmarks and conducting economic analysis
- Independently conduct complex market research to determine market share and other relevant business environment indicators
- Accurately present findings in an appropriate and timely manner
- Design and execute surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups to collect data from various sources
- Make and assess FOIA requests to various government agencies, ensuring accuracy and specifics to gain needed data
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting including market analysis, forecasting, and business performance metrics
- Identify and qualify new products, services, and program marketing opportunities
Required Skills:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree required; preferably in marketing, market research, business, or a related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years experience in qualitative and quantitative market research activities gained at a corporate, agency, or government environment
