About the Role:Clarapath is looking to hire a highly motivated Controller who will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations as the company undergoes rapid growth. The successful candidate will have a successful track record in setting priorities, as well as excellent analytic, organization and communication skills. We are a rapidly growing business with opportunity for the right candidate to continue advancing their role and responsibilities as the company grows.Core duties and responsibilities include the following.Develop timely, accurate and efficient month-end and year-end closingManage accounting functions on a day-to-day basis, including invoicing, accounts receivable,accounts payable, payroll, procurement and general ledger accountingPrepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reportsManage the annual financial audit process performed by our independent CPA firmDevelop, maintain and enhance accounting and finance policies, processes and procedures tocomply with US GAAPResponsible for local, state and federal tax compliance and reporting (including payroll, propertyand sales and use tax compliance and reporting)Develop, analyze, document and implement internal controlsEnhance use of software and integrate software into accounting processes and proceduresEnsure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported resultsIdentify financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to managementEducation and ExperienceBachelors or masters degree in accounting, finance, business or related field7+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/financial analysis, preferably within manufacturing and/or medical devicesExperience with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the accounting and finance field, including cost accountingExperience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Google SheetsExperience with ERP systems and related technologySolid business judgment and ability to communicate effectively across levels of the companySuperior analytical skillsExcellent time management skills and organizational abilityAbility to work independently and as a member of a team.Flexibility to work in a changing and fast paced environment.
