Job Description

Title: .Net/AWS Developer

Client : United Airlines

Open to Remote

Duration : 6+months

Description:

AWS Cloud services developer for Biometrics Program
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating .NET Core microservices in AWS making use of container and NoSQL technology.


Responsibilities
* Implement backend services to support biometrics kiosk
* Under the direction of the technical lead assist in the definition and creation of UAL biometrics platform by

1) investigating third party biometrics technology,

2) creating POCs integrating third party technology,

3) assist in defining biometrics platform,

4) implement biometrics platform
* Work with QA teams to test and remediate defects

UAL Technical Stack/Requirements:
We develop against a Microsoft and AWS technology stack including the following. Priority will be given to candidates that direct experience in these areas
* AWS Serverless technologies including DyanmoDB, Lambda functions, API Gateway
* .NET Core/C#
* Microservices/Web APIs
* Docker/Kubernetes
* MS SQL Server/AWS Aurora DB
* Postman/Swagger/Fiddler or similar

Nice To Haves
* Harness CI/CD tool
* Solace message queues
* Basic web development experience - html/javascript/Angular framework
* Data analysis experience using Python and/or Foundry/SpotFire/PowerBI tools
* Familiarity with W3C Decentralized Identifiers (DiDs) Verifiable Credentials
