Skills/ Education/ Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of product marketing research experience Experience running multi-country research in the News, Tech, Media, or Online Learning industries Experience project managing research studies (qual and quant), data analysis and data storytelling skills
- 4 + years experience with degree
- Has experience developing insights that inform global initiatives, from the products we build to the advertising campaigns we launch
- Has experience developing insights across B2B and B2C audience segments in the Tech, Media.
- Is a mix-methods practitioner with expertise running qualitative and quantitative product marketing research from start to finish, including segmentations, positioning, value propositions, messaging, creative testing etc.
- Has hands on research experience designing qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish, including setting up focus groups, selecting appropriate survey methods (maxdif, discrete choice modeling, conjoint etc), writing surveys, analyzing results, and building and socializing presentations
- Has experience managing research agency relationships, knows how to get the most out of them, and can organize efficiently
- Frames and translates business questions into appropriate plans and research studies that will inform strategic and tactical business decisions
- Crafts stories and presents narratives in a compelling way to internal stakeholders, including executive leaders
- Has experience collaborating across teams, leading meetings with multiple departments, and gaining alignment based on data and insights
- Is proactive, works well with minimal guidance and is excited to "take the first pass" at analysis plans or reports, without needing prescriptive direction
