Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on individual to become a key member of an innovative marketing business, at a time of growth and as the business launches new and exciting products.

Marketing and Content Lead who is ready to dive right in with new creative ideas and concepts and take the lead on the development of a fresh commercially led digital marketing and content strategy.

Tasks

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Owning and implementing strategy, plans and budgets you will develop, own and implement the marketing strategy and plan, aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Managing a content strategy you will develop a content marketing strategy focused on building a new strategic marketing membership community for B2B Tech businesses. Managing the creation of campaigns and content to engage, educate and build an online community.
  • Planning and executing across the full lifecycle of content creation with the goal of improving brand awareness and online profile. Involving the planning and execution of an impactful brand and comms strategy.
  • Community management you will create a robust marketing and engagement plan for members. Responsible for developing and sustaining a vibrant membership community.
  • Extracting and sharing insights on the community with the team to identify opportunities for new features or content for the community.
  • Engaging in conversations with members and offering support as an official representative of the team to maintain and encourage momentum.
  • Acting as a guardian of the tone of voice, helping to create brand consistency across our community.
  • Collaborating closely with end users, external suppliers, and strategic partners, to develop, launch and grow product portfolio.
  • Responsible for managing all digital marketing platforms and channels including social media accounts, website, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Manage and optimise campaigns on the company s marketing automation platform, with a focus on attracting, engaging and helping convert sales for growth marketing programmes.
  • Reporting, accountability, and ROI you will own overall marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting on campaigns and activities for your area. Working with founders, you will optimise effectiveness and introduce new ways of working and cascade learning through the team.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in marketing, including at a management level, with clear evidence of success in prior roles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive business results and meet objectives.
  • Demonstrable experience of running an engaging digital marketing or communications campaign to reach defined target groups using a range of content, platforms and tools.
  • Experience managing complex content projects that consider end-to-end user journeys.
  • Professional qualification in marketing or specialised area (e.g. CIM).
  • Good understanding and experience of CRM and marketing automation.
  • Extensive literacy in the digital world with the aptitude to learn new tools, software and techniques quickly and intuitively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence credibly and build strong trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding content development skills, from ideation to execution.
  • Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy.
  • Ability to think outside the box .

Desirable

  • Degree or Higher in Marketing, Communications, or a similar, relevant discipline.
  • Experience in B2B marketing.
  • Broad technology experience and a sound awareness of technology trends and their potential impact on current & future marketing plans.
  • Passion for technology and data driven marketing.
  • Video and interactive content development expertise a bonus.
