Event Staff Member (Spartan Race)

Spartan Race will be at 1000 Murphy Ln Lebanon, TN 37090. We are looking for 6 candidates to assist with the event. Please read below for more details.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races across the US of varying distances and difficulty, ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. The various series includes the Spartan Sprint, the Spartan Super, the Spartan Beast, and the Spartan Ultra.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

These roles will assist the Spartan Race production team with various tasks during our event to ensure an amazing race!

Tasks include:

• Event Support - Assisting in managing zones throughout festival - following the lead, the local hires will be responsible for zone maintenance (ensuring product is being distributed: drinks, shirts, medals), trash control, and ensuring all zone directives are being overseen and maintained.
• Event Maintenance - Maintaining a clean festival area, ensuring all trash cans are emptied when full, cleaning up the festival area to ensure a trash free environment.
• Pre event setup and post event break down. Fold banners, fold tablecloths, help take down tents, pack up pop ups, fold down tables, stack tables, stack chairs
• Other duties as needed

UNIFORM:

• Top - Event staff Shirt provided upon arrival
• Bottoms Shorts, Jeans, or athletic gear (rain gear recommended)
• Shoes - Closed toe-outdoor shoes (rain gear recommended)
• Bring appropriate clothes/layers for all types of weather

PPE will be provided by Spartan for all event staff

• Contactless temperature checks will be conducted for everyone entering the event space. A person with a body temperature reading of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) will not be permitted to enter.
• All event staff and volunteers will always wear face coverings.
• Increased safety and hygiene procedures for staff and volunteers including regular hand sanitization.

FOOD AND SNACKS:

• Bottled water and snacks will be provided throughout the day
• Please bring your own lunch to ensure you have something to eat

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:

• You will receive a parking pass from the SPARTAN the night before or morning of your shift/or we can upload it to a document between staffing agency and spartan to provide parking passes that can be distributed by either Spartan Festival Manager or Staffing agency.
