Finance Manager: Private Equity/VC Firm

If you are a CPA with 6+ years of experience with a mix of Big Four public accounting and direct private equity experience, then consider learning more about this dynamic organization where you will gain exposure to all areas of the business.

This role presents a great opportunity to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. As the Finance Manager and a critical member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for matters related to the General Partner entities of the firm's private equity, hedge and credit related funds. Specifically, responsibilities would include:

• Responsible for reviewing all accounting, reporting (financial and tax) and treasury functions for a select group of General Partner entities


• Reviewing the calculation and tracking capital calls and distributions


• Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements for a select group of General Partner entities


• Review of carry and profit allocations for General Partner members


• Working with other groups within Finance to determine the appropriate treatment and understanding of matters


• Cash/investment monitoring and reconciliation with bank


• Ad hoc financial projects within Finance Team

EDUCATION and/or RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

6+ years with a mix of Big Four public accounting experience and direct PE experience preferred

• CPA required


• Strong GAAP financial reporting experience


• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.


• Bachelors in Accounting or other relevant field
