Buying Labs is a global B2B platform for fashion trading. Our partners can source fashion goods from us or sell merchandise via our B2B network. Through our focus on the customer and the use of technology, we enable an international customer base to trade fashion goods with ease. For our headquarters in Hamburg, we are currently looking for a Junior Product Manager (m/f/d).
For this job, we are looking for somebody ambitious and intelligent, but also a team fit, willing to take part in the day-to-day operations actively. You should be able to lead our technology, work independently and manage and prioritize projects. Remote work is possible as long as you can work in CET hours.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Turning complex business objectives into simple and scalable solutions
- Writing concepts/tickets creating new tasks for the development team
- Checking prioritization of new feature requests against roadmap topics
- Developing new UI/UX design specifications with Figma
- Analyzing issues and providing improvements regarding existing user flows
- Helping with First-Level support cases to keep the wing time low
- Supporting product launches of new features
- Approving new features based on acceptance criteria
- Contributing to process improvements, including researching and introducing new development tools and technologies
Your Qualification
- Degree-level education in Design, Computing, Web or Engineering disciplines, or equivalent experience
- Fully conversant with Product Managers/Owners, Software Engineers, and users to develop concepts for a B2B trading software
- An ability to interpret complex business requirements, translating them into concepts that can be understood by technical and non-technical end users
- Proactive, persistent, and customer focused with a high level of self-motivation, initiative, and ability to be independent
- Skilled communicator, able to engage with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
- Extensive experience designing and developing commercial software, preferably in complex business models and high transaction environments
