Job Description
- To involve & provide input for the build strategy of major components during initial stages of the project in close coordination with production Engineers & Engg dept.
- Conduct dimensional surveys using survey instruments like Total Station in the assigned projects such as New Build Rig components, Pressure Vessels & columns, Skid Packages etc.
- Prepare pre-weld, post-weld survey reports and decide on the acceptance of the fabricated structure.
- Review the concerned drawings, specifications and DC plan to understand the survey requirements before start of each project.
- Ensure all survey activities as per the DC plan are carried out and results recorded.
- Produce survey results by downloading survey data to auto CAD or SC4W survey software and compare with the theoretical values to decide the acceptance.
