THE TEAM
As part of the Finance team you are responsible to lead corporate and tax accounting of Ticketmaster GmbH (operating both in Germany and Austria). Next to this position TM s Finance Team includes Accountants, Controller and the Event Settlement team.
THE JOB
This position will work cooperatively with all colleagues in the Finance Department locally and in international head-offices to ensure individual performance objectives are met.
Manage all contacts with tax-advisors and auditors to ensure that the annual and tax-report in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with financial laws and company compliance rules.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Review, monitor and control all corporate and tax-ledgers (general ledgers, AR, AP and fixed assets) as well as cash-management and collections
Prepare and report all local GAAP annual and tax-reports to local tax-authorities in close cooperation with local tax-advisor
Lead annual audit-reports and process and potential tax-field-audit with local tax-advisors and auditors
Contact-persons for Finance Director and finance team for all local GAAP, tax and accounting law issues
Coordinate and manage preparation of regulatory and tax reporting
Manage and comply with international VAT filing requirements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Liaise with TM s head office accounting team to provide support for annual audit requests
Assist in creating, monitoring, and updating accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Control overseeing physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliations as needed
Assist in financial package preparation, review, and analysis
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the FD
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
(or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Strong experience in Accounting
Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent
Public Accounting experience (Big 4
preferred)
Must have experience and strong working knowledge of VAT and other regulatory compliance
Extensive expertise with ERP Systems (Oracle is a plus)
Strong system skills with advanced Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, related business field, or equivalent experience required
Ability to work both in a team and independently with little supervision
A strong analytical background
High attention to detail
Solid Communication skills
Must be reliable and punctual
Problem solve and investigate reconciling variances.
