Your role
As an Account Manager (m/f/d), you build long-term and trusting relationships with our customers. Your role will be to manage a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business with existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. In this role, you will work with cross-functional internal teams (including the Professional Services and Product units) to improve the overall customer experience.
Your mission
- Act as a contact person for all customer account management issues
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Negotiate contracts and contract wins to maximise profits
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client groups and executive sponsors
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions in line with client needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas for improvement to achieve sales quotas
- Forecast and track sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales and annual forecasts)
- Preparation of account status reports
- Working with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory
- Assist with challenging customer queries or escalations as required
Your profile
- Proven work experience (at least 3 years) as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant position
- Proven ability to communicate with, present to and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executives and C-level management
- A solid experience in selling software-as-a-service products (SaaS Sales) to provide complex value to our customers to solve their core problem is a highly desirable asset
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Experience in delivering customer-centric solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- B.A./B.S. degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
