Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

reverse supply is an early-stage startup in Berlin that helps fashion brands & retailers gain access to the resale market for their products. Using our recommerce-as-a-service solution, brands can launch resale programs that allow consumers to shop & trade in pre-owned products. Founded in late 2020, we live with our first clients, have a functioning MVP and are funded & backed by some of the best VCs and angels in the industry.

We are building out our MVP to a scalable platform and are looking forward to on-board several high-volume customers soon.

Our tech stack is based on AWS serverless technologies and we work with Python and Javascript.

Tasks

• You will be working on API-based partner integrations as well as our in-house logistics platform.
• You will contribute to fundamental architectural decisions and ensure that they materialize in code. At the same time, you will make sure that architecture evolves together with the growth of the company, new challenges and learnings.
• You will design and implement new features, as well as maintain existing functionality in our MVP. When necessary you will migrate business processes and data smoothly to better scalable solutions.
• You will guide and mentor less experienced team members.
• You will contribute to test coverage and automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• You have 3 + or more years of relevant experience.
• You have successfully built services in either Python or JVM based languages.
• You are neither afraid of working with frontend technologies nor infrastructure services and apply the same engineering principles that you apply to backend code.
• You have a solid understanding of how to design, implement and operate state-of-the-art REST APIs.
• You have a solid understanding of internet technologies, protocols and modern cloud-native service design.
• You know and feel comfortable with modern engineering principles like TDD, pair programming, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery.
