DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

You will work with state of the art infrastructure in production for an awesome product with its clients and challenges - at over 200.000 events per minute.

At justtrack we build a SaaS business that provides app and game publishers an attractive toolset to handle their entire global marketing growth process. Starting from managing, analyzing, and automating marketing processes justtrack enables gathering deep mobile product insights.

As DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the stability, scalability, availability and reliability of the justtrack platform. You will work with our state-of-the-art tech stack (Kubernetes, Flux, Terragrunt, Go, you can check our techstack webpage to maintain a stable and performant solution while we grow. We have ambitious plans, and you are responsible for shaping the technological background that leads to business success. You will work closely with the development teams on professionalizing our processes further.

You will not only be able to use the most modern technologies in production, but one of your main goals is to adapt our tech stack and solutions regularly to the fast-scaling environment of the global mobile tech industry.

Tasks

• You will work in a devops team that provides the infrastructure and building blocks for our backend teams, e.g. Kubernetes clusters, databases, monitoring systems and deployment blueprints
• Ensure the observability of our systems (e.g. providing metrics, alert rules and logs)
• Integrate new technologies into our systems based on Gitops with Kubernetes and Flux
• Develop a scaling IaC pattern to support our growing number of backend systems
• Plan & build a reliable and scalable test environment for internal as well as external stakeholders
• Work together with other DevOps within the group for global solution designs and decisions
• Collaborate with experts from different technological backgrounds and countries, learn from your highly experienced colleagues and share your knowledge
• Work with our tech stack: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Terraform, Terragrunt, Gitlab, Flux, DruidDB, Flink, Spark and various AWS service

Requirements

• Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Gitops are more than buzzwords for you
• You ve worked with AWS before and know how to setup VPCs, networking, access management, etc.
• You ve provisioned infrastructure with Terraform before
• You ve heard of Terragrunt and know how to use it
• You know how to read metrics and how to create alert rules and dashboards based on them
• You have basic knowledge of big data tools, e.g. Airflow, Spark, Flink, Iceberg and how to host them
• Plus: You know how to code in Golang and are not afraid to use it
• Plus: You ve written your own Terraform provider
