Job Description

As a Project Management Office Specialist at Micropsi Industries, you will take on responsibility for some of our largest and most important projects. The focus and scope of such projects are various: ranging from product development, over market expansion initiatives, to general internal improvements. You will play a key role in ensuring that all of these are set up and planned well, rolled out successfully, and in some cases turned into sustainable and automated processes. As our PMO Specialist, you will work closely with all of our different teams, in a role of coordinator and executor, but also delegator, leader, and overseer. You will also work with our management team to report on project progresses and judge when they need to be involved for escalation. To be successful in this role, you need to be organized, structured, a great communicator, and prepared to lead major projects and initiatives in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Tasks

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the successful execution of multiple projects
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage changes to the project scope and schedule and communicate them to all relevant stakeholders
  • Collect vital project information from various teams
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with all project stakeholders
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working as a project manager in a high-growth environment
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business management, or a related field
  • Excellent third-party and internal communication skills
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English and German
  • Proven self-management and team-management skills
  • Proactive mindset and behavior
  • Ability to lead but also work as part of a team

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience managing and working with software development teams
  • Working knowledge of project management software tools
  • Certification from: IMPA, PMP, Prince2 Projektmanagement, Six Sigma etc
