Freight Forwarder Road, Rekkem (NL-FR)

DSV is one of the largest global players in transport and

enlarge and strenghten the DSV Road departement, we from Adecco Belgium, are
currently looking for a Freight Forwarder Road in Rekkem, Belgium to join their
team.

Tasks

Your duties will include:

• Daily efficient planning of pick-up and delivery assignments of goods within Europe and Belgium
• Calling in the right equipment/material according to the specials list (deviations in
  width, height, hourly delivery, single furniture container, etc.)
• Adjusting transport orders and looking for additional subcontractors if necessary
• Processing transport orders in a proprietary system, taking into account customer
  specifications and requirements
• Outsourcing transport assignments to subcontractors
• Checking the unloaded shipments and rescheduling them
• Follow-up of ongoing issues previous shift or prepare transfer to next shift (briefing
  between shifts)
• Monitoring trailers (with regard to inspection, maintenance and repairs)
• Creating loading lists and transport documents for third parties
• Distributing and adding packing lists and customs documents for transport trips
  by subcontractors (preparing paperwork for subcontractors)

Requirements

• You have already your first experience in planning (preferably in road transport).
• A strong geographical knowledge
• You can communicate fluently (both orally and in writing) in Dutch and you have a good level of French
• You have extensive experience with Outlook
• You are sociable, communicative and assertive
