Job Description

By joining our team as an Acquisition Manager, you will have the chance to help us steer into international markets and grow our business significantly. By strategically picking and acquiring targets, you will play a key role in facilitating this growth.

Tasks

What to expect:

  • Being part of an expanding team of 5+ acquisition managers based in Berlin and London
  • Responsibility across the entire acquisition process: From building relationships with targets, structuring transactions, to post-merger integration processes
  • Permanent market screening and analysis of potential targets
  • Financial modelling and contract negotiations in close collaboration with our finance & legal team to execute deals at maximum speed
  • Organizing, implementing and coordinating due diligence processes
  • Ensuring smooth integrations of acquired businesses into our organization and culture
  • Owning our CRM and data monitoring with core KPIs to give visibility to management and investors
  • Shape strategic decisions in close collaboration with management

Requirements

What you will add to our Crew:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar education/experience (if you think you have what it takes)
  • 1-2 years experience in a sales or sales-related role within a fast-growing environment. Ideal is full life cycle with larger customers
  • Past touchpoints with Private Equity, Venture Capital, and M&A preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in understanding challenges and breaking solutions down into action items, as well as strong analytical skills
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others, and build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Results-oriented with a closer mindset
  • You are fluent in English and German. Any other language is a plus
  • Hubspot experience (optional)
