Job Description

Purely Automotive Recruitment offers an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Manager to join the busy team at ourclient based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.Our client is a highly successful privately-owned dealer group operating a number ofpremium automotive brands across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, & Lincolnshire.


Requirements

What does the role of Transaction Manager involve?



  • Making the best use of every appointment, ensuring each customer is given a stand-out experience.

  • Effectively dealing with car enquiry leads converting those appointments into sales, and ensuring all sales leads are maximised.

  • Exhibiting a passion for selling through volume of cars, alongside upselling on products, extended warranties and finance packages.

  • Driving the sales process, from meet and greet, test drive, presentation of products and sales, through to delivery and handover of the vehicle.

  • Responsible for refreshing the Showroom display and pitch on a twice weekly basis

  • Encourage and drive team to achieve daily activity targets

  • Deputising for the General Sales Manager during days off and holidays

We are looking for candidates who;


  • Are on the ball and motivated, with an energised attitude

  • Lead by example and have proven experience of achieving and exceeding set sales targets, consistently hitting individual and team targets

  • Are an excellent communicator, ensuring they understand customers requirements to fully maximise each possible sale

  • Have the ability to motivate and coach a sales team to achieve success

  • Are driven to hit their targets month after month, and a natural people person who is passionate about customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities



  • Ensure that the sales team follow the tried, tested and proven Driving Sales Excellence process.

  • To maximise the profitable sales of new and used vehicles.

  • To assist in the closing of vehicle sales by providing finance products as an aid to selling.

  • To secure finance business using providers approved by the Group.

  • To ensure that front line sales staff are kept abreast of developments in the finance and insurance market.

  • To aim for complete customer satisfaction.

  • To ensure all legal requirements of the FCA are met.

  • Keep abreast of current manufacturer marketing programmes.

Qualifications, Training and Experience



  • Up-to-date knowledge and relevant experience gained within the Automotive finance and insurance industry.

  • An ability to build good customer relationships and negotiate profitable transactions.

  • An ability to mentor and develop others whilst being regarded as a member of a team.

  • To be able to develop contacts within the F & I industry.

  • Understanding of the legal, tax and fiscal implications of Finance and Insurance.

  • Desire and understanding to embrace changes and gain relevant qualifications

  • Smart and presentable personal appearance, with excellent communication and IT skills
