We are looking for a Technical Lead in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey!
Tasks
As our Technical Lead at Prewave, you will
- Plan and design features for our software, identify the requirements for the projects and create the timeline for the team
- Take initiative to improve our frameworks and develop new features
- Support and lead the development team on technical questions, delegate work and achieve daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Onboard new people and help them to use our tools and frameworks productively
- Ensure open communication with the team about challenges, setbacks and achievements
Requirements
Must haves
- Master s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in working with Scala. SQL and databases
- Excellent leadership skills, experience in team leading
- Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
Bonus points for
- Experience in how to work in a cloud based environment
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- A valid work permit in Austria
