Job Description
This is a remote position.
Due to the increased demand for travel, our company is looking for an enthusiasticRemote Cruise Consultant to assist clients in planning and booking cruises. It is the responsibility of theCruise Consultantto assess their clients needs, budgets and preferences to make appropriate recommendations and up sell. We are a licensed and bonded agency and we have contracts with all the major suppliers. This enables our Consultants to have access to the best deals available. Our Consultantswill also have the opportunity to experience cruising with some suppliers for free or at a discounted rate in order to get familiar with the brands so that you can promote it to your clients.
Training is provided but it is important for applicants to have a sincere desire to provide extraordinary customer service. We pride ourselves on our exceptional client satisfaction and this reputation keeps customers coming back to book future trips with our company.
Requirements
Researching and making reservations
Providing quality customer service
Contacting suppliers
Creating promotional materials and marketing online (no cold calling)
Answering client inquiries and providing useful information for their upcoming trip
Entering client data into online supplier platforms and maintaining confidential files
Fluency in English is a must (multilingual is a plus!)
Computer literate with access to reliable internet
Good communication, time-management and organizational skills
Professional demeanor
