Project Manager- Infrastructure

Stabilis Professional Services is looking for a Project Manager for a client in Financial Industry. This is an immediate contract position.

Position Summary:

The PM will be working on an infrastructure and managed services transition requiring infrastructure and technical project experience Manage projects end to end with accountability to business partners and other parties from planning to execution. Projects will include leading systems infrastructure related efforts. Accountable to plan, manage and monitor project tasks and controls during the projects' lifecycle. Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver end to end project management - develop, manage, monitor, and report on all project and program, tasks, activities, controls, deliverables, and reports
• Supply accurate project estimates and tightly manage project budget, approved funding, forecasts, and actuals
• Proven ability to balance competing requirements and interests
• Naturally lead and command authority, influence and inspire without control
• Exercise independent and fair consensus building skills when conflicts arise
• Anticipate and head off problems that can jeopardize delivery, budget, customer readiness, and customer acceptance
• Demonstrate team building skills by developing high performing project teams, setting a positive tone and leading by example
• Effectively negotiate priorities and solutions
• Manage vendor relationships as required
• Success of building partnerships and alliances across the enterprise and at all levels

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success delivering IT related projects that have significant systems and infrastructure elements.
• Experience with infrastructure and managed services transitions.
• Proven ability to apply expert/leading project management and advanced program management skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications, and presentations
• Expert knowledge of a project lifecycle
• Efficiently utilize current project and/or portfolio planning, reporting, and support tools
• Efficiently develop, manage, monitor, and appropriately report on programs, projects, portfolio and/or project tasks and controls
• Experience interacting with and influencing senior members of management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Experience with Clarity other PPM tools preferred
• Experience in data and systems separation nice to have
