Intern vs Working Student

We are looking for talented, ambitious people to join. We understand that, as a student, full-time commitments are not always possible so we accept interns and working students:

• Intern - you want to work full-time for a minimum of 4 weeks during one of your university vacations
• Working student - you are a student in Berlin or Potsdam and are available to work for 2-3 days of the week (or more if you can handle it)

You will be building out the core freetogo platform which includes problems such as...

• Building a secure video infrastructure that supports fighting Covid
• Build security features to keep our patients data safe
• Build a user interface that is used by millions of users every month

Requirements

You'll ideally...

• Have some software engineering experience
• Studying a technical degree such as Computer Science, Physics, Math or Engineering is a plus but not required
• Have experience in a common programming language such as C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Go
• As a bonus, you have experience in our tech stack: Swift/ Java / Kotlin / Flutter
• Have fun writing clean, maintainable, and performant code
• Be a builder - you ship MVPs that are not always perfect and improve these over time based on user feedback
• Be comfortable shipping features end-to-end, from defining the product spec to deploying to production
• See yourself as a future founder and want to gain the most valuable experience possible on the way to founding
