Your mission

We are currently looking for a (Senior) Associate - Analytical development mRNA.

Ethris, based in the biotech hub Planegg / Munich, Germany, is a technical innovator in the field of messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics, an emerging alternative to gene therapies and protein-based drugs.

The company has developed two proprietary technology platforms to enable the use of mRNA as a therapeutic agent: stabilized non-immunogenic mRNA (SNIM RNA) for transcript therapy and lipidoid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technologies for SNIM RNA delivery.

We focus on the development of mRNA-based therapeutics and vaccines for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Our technology helps replace or supplement missing or non-functional proteins or introduce new proteins to modulate disease progression or symptoms. We are committed to bringing these new technologies to patients as soon as possible.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of analytical methods including their transfer to contract manufacturing organizations

__You will be in charge of:__

• Further development of existing analytical methods as well as development of new methods for characterization of mRNA molecules
• Support of in house manufacturing team for implementation of the developed analytical methods
• Making analytical methods fit for purpose to be transferred to existing contract manufacturers
• Participation in technology transfers
• Documentation, evaluation, presentation of relevant results and writing of SOPs

Your profile

• You have experience in analytical development (including instrumental and molecular biology methods) with a strong focus on quality aspects
• Degree in life sciences with 2-3 year experience in analytical development, ideally for mRNA
• Knowledge of guidelines for analytical development and validation
• Independent, structured and precise with high flexibility and high motivation to learn
• Strong team player, communication and networking is part of your personality
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and a good command of written and spoken English
