Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients in Strathroy, ON is looking for a Electrician for their fabrication facility.

Shifts - 8 Hours rotation (3 shift)

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • The Electrician is responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality products.

  • Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.

  • PLC and HMI programming changes and troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment; weight scales VFD, Servomotors and network communications experience.

  • Repair, troubleshooting and installation of machinery including electrical and electronic equipment, control systems and automation.

Qualifications --

  • A valid 442A / 309 Electrician License

  • 2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)

  • Ability to work scheduled overtime as required

  • Able to read blue prints.
