Senior Software Developer / Full Stack / Heidelberg (partially remote)

This is an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to enable teams to build modern infrastructure and pipelines for a startup in the amazing field of AI and CVML software products.

We offer a hybrid position: You can come to our office in Heidelberg, Germany, every day or only for a few days every couple of weeks.

Tasks

Your role as a Software Engineer at Quality Match is to empower teams to deliver the best software solutions for our product development. You will act as a mentor and coach to our rapidly growing teams, helping to develop cutting-edge software products while fostering a culture of personal and professional growth.

You will leverage modern cloud technologies and write code yourself in Python or other high-level languages and mentor our teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• experience as a lead developer or a software architect within a fully functional team

Strong experience / knowledge in / on:

• python and other higher-level programming languages
• relational and document-oriented database systems
• cloud computing and services (AWS is a plus)
• modern software development tools and methodology
• object-oriented programming
• concurrency and parallelism
• participate in architecture design
• planning and estimations of software in an agile environment
• communication skills for collaborating with other teams and clients

A plus when applying:

• existing working visa for Germany / Blue Card
• experiences with annotations, computer vision, machine learning
• experience in frontend development (React)
• excitement for algorithms and algorithmic efficiency
