Working student (f/m/d) - Network

Your Tasks:

For our department TechOps Networks we are looking for a motivated student assistant for our location in Karlsruhe, Germany, who will support us in hardware and software related activities in the daily business

• Configuration of network components.
• Installation and administration of Linux servers.
• Creation of documentation.
• Evaluation of new software solutions for provisioning and monitoring.
• Support in the introduction of automation tools.

We Appreciate:

• You are currently in a (computer science) study and are available for 15-20 hours per week, if possible on fixed days.
• You have basic knowledge of the common Linux distributions.
• Ideally, you have already been in contact with network components (switches, routers), but this is not a mandatory requirement.
• Knowledge of the script languages Perl and Bash is desirable.
• You have a driver's license (class B).
• A reliable and precise way of working is absolutely necessary for this position.
