The Opportunity

Are you a Sales Engineer who would like to drive Industry 4.0 in the Automotive Industry with SaaS solutions made in Germany and shape the new NavVis Sales Consultant Team?Some call them Pre-Sales or Sales Consultant, others Technical Account Managers, we call them Sales Engineer: a proactive team player and technical key contact, co-leading the pre-sales, demoing and proof of concept (POC) phase together with our Enterprise Account Managers, with the goal to win over new Automotive customers for our Digital Factory Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

The team's mission this year

With entrepreneurial spirit we want to further professionalize our value-based SaaS selling approach, build the Sales Engineer role and expand the team.
We are on a clear growth mission and are planning to win over a significant number of additional OEM and Tier 1 customer.

How you will make an impact

You will lead and shape the Enterprise Sales Engineer approach at NavVis and potentially create and develop the Sales Engineer Team within our Enterprise organization.
You will collaborate closely with our global Enterprise Account Management to build a tight relationship with new prospects and to win them as new customers

  • by supporting the initial discovery phase to identify the customer's challenges, expectations and needs;
  • through customer-specific demonstration of our NavVis IVION Digital Factory Solution;
  • by consulting our prospects on the competitiveness and most valuable industry use cases of our solution

You will have the ownership to manage the early proof-of-concept phase with new potential customers

  • by organizing and coordinating an initial 3D laser scan of our customers' factories and initially setting-up our Digital Factory solution;
  • by preparing and executing value workshops and follow-up use case discussions together with our in-house industry experts; and
  • by supporting our customers with ROI and business case calculations

You will closely work with our in-house industry experts and product team to further improve our enterprise sales approach and to enhance our solution and service offering.

  • Your creativity and technical affinity will empower you to customize and demo the best possible SaaS solutions to our enterprise customers.
  • Your experience in similar roles and your hands-on mentality will make you successful on the ground with our customers but also with building up our pre-sales approach and team
  • Your languages skills in BOTH German and English will be essential and benefits for your focusing industry, i.e., German Automotive Industry
