(Senior) Backend Developer (f/m/d)

As Backend Developer you will join a team of highly committed developers, further developing our tracking platform JustTrack by bringing in a lot of own ideas.

At justtrack, we build a SaaS business that provides app and game publishers an attractive toolset to handle their entire global marketing growth process. Starting from managing, analyzing, and automating marketing processes justtrack enables gathering deep mobile product insights.

By joining the Team, you will have the opportunity to create state-of-the-art microservices from scratch. Moreover, you can dig into well-established services that already handle millions of requests per day and help us further scale them. Our team s mission is to effortlessly gather, aggregate, and instantly provide all in-app event and marketing data to developers and marketers.

We update our tech stack frequently to adjust to our platform growth and to avoid dealing with legacy code or deprecated software.

Tasks

• You bring fresh ideas to further improve our high-performance Golang backend (separated over several, globally located data programming centers)
• Take a leading role in designing and implementing new microservices
• Further, develop our automated testing via CI pipeline
• As MySQL comes across limits in many places, let us further establish databases like Redshift and Druid together
• Work with experts from different technological backgrounds and countries, learn from your highly experienced colleagues and share your knowledge

Requirements

• You are an expert for Go!
• At least 2 years experience with Golang and in building web applications
• Basic knowledge of microservices and distributed systems
• Basic understanding of HTTP protocol, encoding, and regular expressions
• Optional: Knowledge of PHP, Java, or React
• Optional: Familiarity with AWS services like DynamoDB, Lambda, Kafka, and SQS
