For our location in Montr al (Quebec H2G 2J6) we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist [FR and EN] for 40 hours/week to start as soon as possible.

Nous sommes la recherche d une personne afin de pourvoir le plus rapidement possible un poste de commis aux services TI bilingue (fran ais et anglais) notre bureau de Montr al (Qu bec, H2G 2J6), raison de 40 heures par semaine.

Tasks

  • You communicate with customers in French and English through a variety of channels to assist them in diagnosing problems and to guide them in solving issues about our services and products.
  • You create support tickets and process them to final resolution.
  • You remain alert to messages from the incident notification system and inform the response team when incidents arise.
  • You are responsible for the initial assessment of reported incidents to assign the most appropriate priority level to new tickets.
  • You escalate issues and tickets so that they may be considered for immediate action, based on possible impact or SLA terms.
  • You oversee the basic monitoring of infrastructure and services.
  • You help in user education.
  • You interact with other teams to provide a comprehensive and high-quality support.
  • You work in a 24/5 shift system with a great planning reliability. Depending on the shift there are attractive bonuses and compensation days.

Responsabilit s

  • Communiquer avec les clients en fran ais et en anglais par diverses voies de communication afin de les aider diagnostiquer et r soudre les probl mes li s nos produits et services.
  • Ouvrir des billets et les traiter jusqu la r solution des probl mes.
  • Rester l aff t des messages du syst me de notification des incidents et informer l quipe d intervention en cas d incident.
  • Proc der l valuation initiale des incidents signal s afin de d terminer le niveau de priorit appropri des nouveaux billets.
  • Soumettre un recours hi rarchique les billets pouvant n cessiter une intervention imm diate, selon leur incidence ou les modalit s de l entente sur le niveau de service (ANS).
  • Veiller la surveillance de base des infrastructures et des services.
  • Contribuer la formation des utilisateurs.
  • Collaborer avec d autres quipes pour fournir un soutien complet et de haute qualit .
  • Travailler dans un syst me de gestion des quarts avec une grande fiabilit de planification, qui couvre des p riodes de 24 h, sept jours sur 5. Des primes int ressantes et des journ es de compensation sont offertes selon les quarts de travail.

Requirements

  • You have an IT education.
  • You have experience in the area of IT support.
  • You have a good understanding of IP Networking and protocols such as SMTP, DNS and HTTP.
  • You have had mail server / email flow exposure and have a clear understanding as well as experience of mailflow.
  • You are conversant with Linux that is a plus.
  • You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills and you like working on the phone.
  • You are customer focused must have good people skills, be friendly and helpful.
  • You are fluent in English and French - any other language is a plus.
  • You are a team player and have inter-personal skills.

Exigences

  • Dipl me technique (baccalaur at ou DEC) dans une discipline technologique ou combinaison quivalente d tudes et d exp riences.
  • Exp rience dans le domaine du soutien en TI.
  • Bonne compr hension des r seaux IP et des protocoles comme SMTP, DNS et HTTP.
  • Exp rience avec les serveurs de messagerie et les flux de courriels et bonne compr hension du trafic courriel.
  • Connaissance approfondie de Linux, un atout.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication crite et verbale, et inclination pour le travail t l phonique.
  • Orientation client, bonnes aptitudes sociales et attitude amicale et serviable.
  • Ma trise du fran ais et de l anglais, connaissance de toute autre langue, un atout.
  • Esprit d quipe et bonnes comp tences interpersonnelles.
