Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Testing, Verification and Validation

Location: Carrollton, TX

Job Type: 12+Months Contract / Full Time

Job Description:

• Experienced in embedded microprocessor based system, architecture, PCB hardware, interfaces, components
• Familiar with common used PCB design software, like PADS, etc., literate in schematic and layout files
• Capable of troubleshooting electronic hardware at component level by using common lab instruments
• Knowledgeable and experiences in sensor analog front end circuits, sensor calibration basics, amplifier, ADC, LDO, switching power supply topology
• basic understanding of various filters, amplifier topologies and architecture, able to perform simulation to verify a design
• Create and implement test plan towards functional verification and qualification, onsite work at Houston location is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• To qualify/verify an electronic design. This would include room temperature verification along with temperature potentially
• Support electrical hardware development and implement solutions
• Hardware implementation Component selection, Schematics design & PCB layout support, Simulation & Analysis.
• Component characterization and high temperature qualification
• Support prototype building & co-ordination with cross functional team
• Analyze and develop Test Plans and procedures for Qualification and Acceptance processes
• Test setup preparation, System integration, design verification and validation
• Troubleshooting, finding root cause and providing recommendation and suggestion for design change.
• Technical presentation & reporting

Qualification:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Master's preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
