Principal Solution Architect

Role: Principal Solution Architect

Location: Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Jersey City, NJ, and Washington DC

Qualifications/Skills:

• We need someone who has architected and supported projects using Java 8 or higher, Spring Boot, Microservices, AOP, concurrency, and multi-threading.
• Designed and architected cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, KMS, AWS CLI, Networking, AWS Security/IAM and so forth.
• Able to construct POC and report the architecture proposals by using clear and complete diagrams with written documentation.
• Work with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Able to understand architecture design mechanisms and processes like logical/conceptual, business and physical architectures, and able to describe these constructs.
• Experience with the following: Public-cloud platforms/AWS Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, high performance computing, distributed and parallel systems, large software system development, security software development.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks a plus such as: AWS EMR, Kubernetes, Apache Hive, Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, Apache Beam etc.
