Job Description
Job Title: Sr Java/AWS Software Engineer
Location : Remote
Duration : Long-term, open-ended contractTop Requirements:
- Strong hands-on AWS experience Configuring apps in AWS (this is a cloud team)
- Strong Java experience
- Python experience
- Relational database experience Postgres, DynamoDB Aurora)
The Team
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be applying your software development and automation skills to develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve record keeping rep facing application.
This person will be a hands-on engineer with well-honed design and development skills. This individual will be accountable for all the deliveries of the engineering team.
The Expertise You Have
- Full-stack development experience using Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot, and Python
- Experience integrating with Service Oriented Architecture (REST) using Express / Node/SpringBoot/Dropwizard
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with designing and building large scale applications
- Strong knowledge in application development with micro architectures.
- Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with CI and CD pipelines including Unit, Component, Functional, Performance, and Security test automation
- Knowledge of mock frameworks and service virtualization
- Proven experience in Oracle database and PL-SQL
- Ability to provide automation solutions to support all possible data scenarios
- Certifications in, and working experience with, AWS
