- Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex manufacturing drawings, identify components and bill of materials
- Spearhead strategies to ensure proper end-to-end traceability of materials, semi-finished goods, and finished components
- Work on Production Planning, Scheduling, and Budgeting
- Ensure implementation of tolerancing and dimensioning on the shopfloor
- Complete understanding of welding methodologies and shop-floor implementation of proper welding techniques
- Work with quality engineers to create in-process quality procedures to ensure optimal production output
- Coordinate with machining team to optimize machining schedule and processes
- Understanding of Sheet Metal Part manufacturing
- Identify critical manufacturing processes and ideate and implement jigs and fixtures to streamline manufacturing
- Issue parts to the manufacturing team based on production requirement
- Create Production Process Plans and Checklists to ensure efficiency and quality of output
Requirements
- A bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)from anaccrediteduniversity. Can be substituted with extensive experience and a growth mindset.
- A minimum of3years experience in a manufacturing environment.Preferablyin an engineer to order (ETO) job shop environment
- Experience and understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes such as machining, fabrication, and welding
- Experience withdocumentation (especially using MS 365) andimplementing project managementtechniquesto production
- Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience and Understanding of CAD Modelling and DFMA Principles
