Job Description
- Highly sought after NSW Government Organisation
- Up to$750 Daily plus Super
- 12 months contract
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Manager Planning Complianceto join their team.
This role will lead and manage a team to ensure compliance with development consent conditions and all mitigation measures identified in a range of planning pathways, including State Significant Development conditions of consent and Review of Environmental Factors (REFs) approvals, to ensure that the organisation meets its statutory obligations andrelevant government policy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify emerging planning consent compliance risks and/or issues across the portfolio and provide timely, outcomes-focused recommendations to address identified risks and/or issues.
- Provide ongoing support and education to employees and contractors regarding their compliance obligations to ensure all developments are constructed and operated in accordance with the relevant statutory approvals (SSDAs, local DAs, REFs and Complying Development Certificates).
- Manage the allocation of post-approval documentation submitted for review and endorsement to ensure all documents meet the relevant consent authoritys requirements.
Selection Criteria:
- Degree in planning, environmental management, engineering, law or other relevant discipline and/or experience in the processes and operational and strategic requirements that ensure projects are constructed and operated in accordance with the relevant statutory approvals and legislative requirements.
On offer is a 12 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
