A construction company in the Greater Boston area is seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a straight-forward AP position involving some high volume invoice entry.They use SAP to process AP, some vendor management will be necessary. Requirements
- Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the team
- Work with bookkeeping databases and software
- Receive and record vouchers, cash, checks
- Data Entry (debits, credits)
- Research discrepancies
- Reconcile discrepancies and report to Controller
- Open mail
- Monitor emails
- Answer and maintain all phone calls
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ Years experience in accounting preferred
- Experience with analyzing invoices/payment issues preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
