Our client is a reputable name in the sales and servicing of heavy machinery within the automotive/automobile industry.

Scope

The Senior Technician will be carrying out maintenance work repairs, and troubleshooting on the client s fleet according to manufacturers recommendation and following service objectives set by the company.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of fleet in the workshop and/or at the customer s premises according to the intervention schedule.
  
• Troubleshoot with available diagnosis tools
  
• Propose technical recommendations or parts/stock management to the client
  
• Gather information from machine operators or users in order to anticipate certain problems and plan methods to resolve these problems.
  
• Adhere to the rules and instructions for health and safety in the workplace; maintaining and keeping work tools and work environment clean.
  
• Prepare intervention reports to be submitted to the person in charge
  
• Report part sales opportunities to the relevant department
  
• Conduct necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them to customers.
  
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or in related subjects.
  
• Minimum 5 years work experience in truck/machine repairs preferably within the automotive sector.
  
• Good knowledge of general mechanics, electricity, hydraulics on trucks and machinery
  
• Proficiency in English Language
  
• Must be a team player.
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Ability to work outdoor/indoor

• Knowledge in equipment and mechanical procedures.
