Our client supplies world-class lifting equipment to a wide range of industries. We are specifically looking to recruit sales talent based in theMpumalangaarea including Witbank/Middleburg and surroundswith coalmining experience.
This Sales Representative will be expected tomeet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets (Revenue as well as GP targets) for the assigned region/proposed customer base in the Lifting Equipment/Service industry.
Responsibilities
- To achieve revenue and margin budgets in a defined geographical region.
- To analyze customer purchases (past and present) in order to create and implement effective sales strategies.
- To identify and grow new customers and regain inactive customers.
- To fully understand the branch/area customer dynamics and to work with customers in creating long term relationships and brand support.
- To effectively communicate new products and solutions into the market
- To gain and provide the Company with market intelligence.
- Effective and accurate reporting in line with business requirements.
- Visit customers on site to do sales and/or inspections and inspection reports
- Work with all department managers to ensure a customer centric organization
Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of the revenue and margin budgets
- Proven sales growth for the specified reporting period, against specified previous numbers
- Accurate and timeous back order book management
- Sales Order Management processing and maintenance of sales orders in line with company policies
Knowledge
- Relevant product and / or channel specific knowledge
- A full understanding of the Company and the applicable product range
- An understanding of the company s ERP system
- An understanding of the company s systems and procedures relevant to the job and market
