Description

The Senior Associate, Data Analysis and Reporting will be responsible for conducting descriptive analysis using a variety of health care data sets, including HEDIS, CAHPS, and HOS. You will develop and maintain SAS code, produce and format Excel tables, and report findings to internal audiences as well as federal government clients.

As a Senior Associate, Data Analysis and Reporting, you:

  • Have strong interest in conducting descriptive analyses using a variety of health care data sets, including HEDIS, CAHPS, and HOS.
  • Derive satisfaction from translating large quantities of data and metadata into summary information, distilling trends and patterns to understand health care quality issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Are adept in data manipulation using SAS, and have extensive experience working with Excel.
  • Develop and maintain excellent documentation.
  • Are detail- and deadline-oriented.
  • Are communicative and collaborative.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytic operations for client contracts and grants that require use of data analytics for reports, chartbooks, tables. Projects may CMS Duals, HOS, and SNP HEDIS contracts, as well as internal HEDIS and CAHPS analytic deliverables.
  • Conduct analysis in consultation with project leads and data scientists to produce output for contract deliverables including: preparing and cleaning data; writing, executing, and maintaining SAS code; preparing formatted results tables; verifying the accuracy of results; and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Conduct QA. Participate in quality assurance processes and code reviews. Prepare documentation according to client specification and/or standardized department processes.
  • Present to clients and respond to questions regarding reports, chartbooks, tables.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities required to succeed in data analysis and client management.
  • Three or more years of experience performing data analysis, manipulation, and reporting results to customers/clients utilizing SAS analytical software.
  • Programming skills in SAS; certification a plus. High level of proficiency with Excel.
