To efficiently support the Company objectives with best practice technical skills for the design and manufacture of the Company products.
Ensuring the highest level of safety at all times complete P&L responsibility for the Malaysian operations of the company.
You will use your wealth of industry and product experience:
- Safety: Ensure the safety of all personnel and contractors at all times through a best practice and pragmatic safety culture;
- Skills: Establish and manage best practice skills development and skills certification programmers for all department personnel in line with company objectives and with the buy-in and support of the Company line managers;
- Human Resources: Manage the human resources for all Company employees in Malaysia. Work with Company line managers to identify candidates for open positions, manage the local recruitment process; manage ongoing people management, manage HR issues as they arise, implement and manage a performance management system in conjunction with line managers. Implement and manage incentive programs in line with Company objectives.
- Office Administration: Manage the administration of the local office including provisioning employees with IT equipment, office furniture, network services;
- Regulatory: Implement systems to manage local regulatory obligations;
- Financial Management: With support from the finance team manage all aspects the financial performance of the Malaysian operations including statutory accounting, management accounting and management reporting;
- Process Improvement: Work together with the Managing Director and management team to deliver whole-of-business process improvements to drive better customer and profit outcomes.
