Job Description

Our client is a local accounting practice located centrally on the Gold Coast. They work with clients at all levels, advising and assisting them with the financial and business decisions they have to make in the course of managing their financial futures.
Their team members are the heart and soul of the business. They currently have 2 directors and 12 staff members (including 1 administration) and are lookinglooking for a junior accountant / accountant to join their team.
The role is for an accounting graduate. You would assistant and work with a senior accountant and be a key staff member for the entire team. Your role would include a wide variety of tasks including:
- Taxation reporting
- Use of multiple software applications (Xero, Intuit, Quickbooks, Handisoft etc)
- Management reporting
- Superannuation fund reporting and structures
- Corporate Secretarial
- Development of your legal and taxation knowledge
- Business advisory
- and various administrative duties.
Requirements
To be the successful applicant you willhave:
- Recently completed a bachelor of business/accounting degree
- Have had worked within an Australian Accountancy practice
- Posses a strong work ethic
- Have excellent communication skills
- Time management and organisation skills
- Have the desire to learn rapidly
Some training will be provided.
